1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. Thanks!
Now, no one is required to play in order to read my blog. Just thought it might be fun.
P.S. nothing too personal, this is a family sight you know! :)

Where do I start? 28 years is a lot of memories.
I remember you not wanting to tell us Ryan's last name when you got engaged. You said we would run around calling you "Mrs. Whatever" and tease you.
I can't believe you thought your little sisters would make fun of you! (*What family DID you grow up in!?!)
I like Carter, I still think it would have been funny if you had married into the Walerie family.
I do have early memories of a Sister Carter lady teaching a relief society lesson on one of my previous visits to Spokane (before we moved here). But my favorite and real, true, first memory of you is at the ward Halloween Party. Some people's children were running a muck around the building and you (being in charge) felt that the parents needed to be informed about their lack of caring and responsibility toward their children.....very funny. I will leave it at that and say furthermore, I am glad my children were in the cultural hall under my constant supervision at the time.......ahhhhh.....good times, noodle salad.
Melanie, that was TOTALLY your MIL's idea, and you KNOW IT! I REFUSE TO TAKE FURTHER RESPONSIBILITY!
I have many, but one that makes me laugh now-Working out to Tae Bo videos (yes videos). I probably can’t even get through the first 10 mins now and the first 5 is warm up!
I remember you doing a pampered chef party at my apartment... it was the first direct sales party I ever hosted and you got me hooked on Pampered Chef products for time and all eternity.
And I remember we lived briefly in the same apartment complex.
Going to Green Bluff to get some fruit. There was miles of construction. After a half hour of patiently waiting to get to the light. You rolled down the window as we passed some construction workers and yelled, "It's about time!!" or something along those lines. I was too busy laughing to really remember what was said but I will always remember that day. Rocking out to 80's music and you yelling out the window.
This memory happened at your house but I just remember all of us cracking up. Bethany was prego and laying on you floor when she tried to sit up she let a huge one rip. That was funny. But for real. Playing Sequence with you and Ryan and you guys wouldn't let Bethany and I win. And then I tried to take a picture and you wouldn't let me take one. You were all hiding behind your cards. That is the only picture we ever tried to take.
I keep wondering if we were ever at the carousel in Seattle together. You know how the big group would go downtown? Hmmm...?
I know we were there in 98, but I will have to look at later dates cuz that is probably too old for you guys. How long have you been married?
Heidi -
I have never actually been to the carousel in Seattle. I think we always meant to go, but it never worked out. But I did come to your wedding reception.
R and I have been together since 2/97, and got married 05/98.
I feel like such a jerk! You came to my reception?! Did we meet before then or just at the reception? Maybe that's where this vague memory of you is coming from. Can I crawl in my hole now?
Heidi -
Umm, you were GETTING MARRIED! Like you didn't have anything better to do at the time than worry about some random girl at your reception! Puh-lease!
Take my hand, crawl out of the hole.
I'm grateful to whoever thought up blogging and to Kendra who convinced me to (finally) start one so that I can reaquaint myself with all the fun people that I once met. And aren't we all a whole lot more fun 10+ years down the road?
Feel better?
