Chicken? Why, Yes I Am

Yesterday we helped my parents spread 4 yards of bark around. Afterward, dad suggested we take out the motorcycle and spend some time together.

HA. HA. HA. (Did you see the title of this post?)

Ryan didn't need to be asked twice, and since I'm trying not to be boring or vanilla I played along like it sounded like fun. While Ryan got the bike ready I snuck back in and told my mom where to find our wills. Just to be clear, I have no doubt about Ryan's ability to drive the motorcycle....it's all the other crazies on the road that I worry about. Dad wanted us to go out to the casino in Idaho (backroads all the way, very pretty), but we ended up just running down to Freeman and then back up Dishman-Mica for a fairly short ride. Turns out all that hiking Ryan did in field camp is wreaking havoc on his hips, so the ride wasn't that comfortable for him.

The biggest surprise is that I actually had a good time (and even relaxed enough to enjoy it and not lean the opposite way when we turned) by the end of the ride. So we'll probably do it again sometime. Plus, mom already knows where the wills are. ;)

We don't evan have a will- so bad I know. We need to get on that. Very non- vanilla of you.

not exactly my idea of fun either. Anything to get away alone though right?

I should have a will but that means I might actually die. And THAT means Brandon gets to raise my kids. And THAT means I need to stipulate in my will WHO is to take him out so they can go to whomever I can convince to take them on.

Maybe no one can take him out since no one else wants to raise my kids (besides Aiden and could you IMAGINE the fallout there!?!). Crap.

Good for you for riding the "motocyclebike". See, you're not CHICKEN, just cautious.

My hubby has a motorcycle and that is the same thing I did when he first got it, got us a will! I love going on rides though. He is now thinking about selling it and I can't imagine him without it and not being able to go for those rides... even if it is that one time a year we actually have a date.
