Friday I decided I was in the mood to be FunMommy. You know, let'sallgooutinpublicandbetogetherforsomebondingtime FunMommy. So all the kids and I had a 'date' downtown to Mobius Kids (our children's museum), and then lunch at Red Robin across the street (had to use up my bonus bucks that expire at the end of the month). The kids had a great time running around for an hour at the museum and then ate a terrific lunch - they both picked fruit instead of fries for their sides (no coaxing on my part) - and got balloons from RR. All in all they were really fantastic - no whining, crying, complaining, running off, or tantrums. It was a fun couple of hours spent together.
Makes me more optimistic about the future.

Fum Mommy? What's that? Is being a mom supposed to be fun? Did I miss that memo?
I'm glad you had a good time. That is what life is all about. Love, Family and doing it without annoying one another. Good times
Occasionally I have those moments where I realize I am NOT in that place anymore. You know that place, you're still in it: diapers, crying babies, etc.
having those moments let me have the hope for the future.
Good for you, btw, for being the Fun Mommy. I don't ever do it but I'm glad you do. I'm just Mean Mommy.
