And Double Yum!

Go to the Outback Steakhouse. Order the green beans as one of your sides. Just trust me on this one, they are soooooooooooo worth it. Then, try this recipe and see if they taste the same to you:

Steam your fresh green beans for 8 minutes. Blanche them in cold water to stop the cooking (uh, that means dunk them). Drain them and set aside. 5 minutes before your going to serve them saute in 2 Tablespoons brown sugar, 1 1/2 Tablespoons butter, and 1 clove of garlic, pressed. Saute 3-4 minutes and serve 'em up hot.

So very delicious, I will be making fresh green beans much more often.

I love their green beans, too. I always thought there was some kind of soy sauce thing going on. It's been so long, I don't remember why I thought so, though. Maybe it's just the color?

They were SO good and I'm excited to try them myself. Oh yum! Any trick to get me to eat those veggies is great.
